Growing children need a healthy start in order to promote a better quality of life. For children to thrive in school, work and life, good nutrition, physical exercise and accessible health care are of paramount importance.

Food plays a vital role in our overall health and well-being.one of the advantages of being in a boarding school is that children learn healthy eating habits- eating regular meals at fixed times and eating a wide range of food with the components required for the development of the body and brain.

Food and Dining

A sumptuous buffet is served at every meal. Special care is taken to ensure a balanced diet- seasonal fruits, dairy products, fresh green vegetables, meat.

The menu, planned by a team of nutrition experts in concurrence with the representatives of the student body, the Mess prefects, is wholesome, tasty and enjoyed by all. Special care is taken to see that all varieties of cuisine, Indian, Oriental and Continental is enjoyed.

The Thursday tuck shop is a much-awaited privilege.

Separate diet is made available for students with medical conditions on the instruction of the School Medical Officer.

Multi-cuisine meals cater to the taste of international students at Pinkz. The students are given experiences in fine dining at regular intervals where their lessons in Dining etiquette and their Hostess Training, taught in the finishing school classes, are put to test.

House tutors seated at the tables carefully monitor the food intake, table conversation and the manners of the children.

The Infirmary

The Pinkz Public School infirmary is equipped to handle the minor medical problems that crop up every day in the Residences. Manned by a registered nurse who is qualified to handle emergencies of any kind, the infirmary also has facilities to quarantine students who are afflicted with contagious ailments till they can seek further treatment.

The Medical Officer, who is on call, visits the school on alternate days and routine medical problems are addressed. A panel of specialists ensure that all medical issues can be treated when required.

The dentist and orthodontist on the panel not only treat the students, but through regular seminars and talks ensure that the girls are aware of how to maintain oral hygiene and prevent dental problems.
